Welcome to the SecondPlan Web Manual.

This manual is work in progress.

SecondPlan is a scheduling software for small stores / coffee shops written in C#.

Features include:

• Week based shift scheduling using a simple, Outlook like interface.
• Employee availability management.
• Rules based system for matching employees to shifts based on store requirements, employee availability and wishes.
• Color coded availability highlighting for aiding manual schedule creation.
• 'Solve Schedule' functionality for auto determining viable shift / employee combinations.

SecondPlan uses some terms to describe the workflow and features of the software. Please read this page first for a definition of common terms used throughout this manual.
